Safe and responsible by design
Altr edits and creates images from photos and prompts you provide. You may only upload photos of yourself or of people who have given you their explicit consent. Altr does not offer face-swap, deepfake or voice-cloning tools, and using someone's likeness without their consent is prohibited.
- Prompts are checked before a job runs, and unsafe requests are refused
- Anyone can report an image from inside the app
- We do not use your images to train AI models, and we do not sell your data

FAQ
Questions, answered
What are credits?
Credits are how Altr measures AI processing. Each generation or edit uses a number of credits, which is shown before you run it. Subscriptions add credits every billing period, and credit packs never expire.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Web subscriptions can be managed from the link in your Paddle receipt email.
Who processes my payment?
Web purchases are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle calculates and collects any local taxes and sends your receipt. We never see or store your card details.
What is your refund policy?
You can request a refund of a first subscription payment or an unused credit pack within 14 days. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Do you use my photos to train AI?
No. Your images are used only to fulfil the request you make, and we do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy.
What photos can I upload?
Photos of yourself, or of people who have given you their explicit consent, and images you have the right to use. Face swaps, deepfakes and impersonation are not allowed. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
